We could not stay due to the condition of the property and were left to find last-minute accommodation the day before Ne
Positive: Unfortunately, we were unable to stay due to the condition of the property, so we cannot comment on anything positive.
Negative: We arrived after a long day travelling with a child and found the apartment in a condition we could not stay in. There was mould, dirt, and hair and nails in the bedding. We contacted the host, explained that we were leaving and asked for a refund, but we were not refunded despite not staying. This happened the day before New Year, so we ended up outside trying to find a last-minute hotel at a much higher cost, which was extremely stressful and ruined the start of our holiday.

Overall perfect for what I needed it for and perfect for any healthcare students on placement
Positive: This property’s location was perfect as a student on placement at the local hospital with great travel links to and from. The tram was also a short walk away to get into the centre and the local pier house restaurant had a delish cheap breakfast. The kitchen in the flat was very well equipped for someone who would have been staying for a weekend - for longer stays (as I was) I did have to buy a few things.
Importantly as a solo woman in an unfamiliar area I felt safe. The view from the windows were amazing especially with the winter sunsets. Also, a big asda nearby was very handy.
Negative: Unfortunately in my second week staying here the toilet completely broke so be extra careful as its a strange plumbing system. It took about a week for this to be fixed and as I live in scotland I was able to go back home for the weekend. I had to make do without a toilet for a couple nights before alternative accommodation was offered. After this was fixed I had zero issues with it, I’d just hoped alternative accommodation was offered sooner.
I was disappointed that for staying there for 7 weeks there wasn’t someone who came in weekly to clean as I have had this on previous long term bookings for placements.
A bit nit picky but the bed sheet didn’t fit the double bed and I did have to go and buy more pillows due to the quality of the pillows provided.
Good to know
